Georgia Harrison has signed up to Love Island: All Stars to reclaim her personality after she 'lost herself' amid the Stephen Bear scandal.

The 2017 Islander, 29, was the victim of revenge porn after Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen, 33, sold a video of the pair having sex on his OnlyFans, which then reached Pornhub and went viral online, without Georgia's knowledge or consent.

After years of suffering from vicious trolling and feeling humiliated because the private moment she shared with her former boyfriend became widespread, Stephen was arrested and eventually sentenced to 21 months in prison.

Georgia has since worked hard to process the events of the past few years after struggling with her self-worth and trusting men following the ordeal.

And she says returning to the show will give her the chance to rebuild herself after she missed out on embracing her 20s while having to deal with such heavy issues.

She said: 'I really feel like I have lost a part of myself over the past couple of years.

'I am funny, I am silly, there are so many parts of my personality that aren't getting shown because I am talking about a tough and negative subject.

'I am happy to do it because I want to be a voice for women but at the end of the day this is the last year of my 20s and I deserve after all this time to just go in there and have some fun, banter and really just be young and me again.

'I didn't know that this was going to happen but being here now and getting ready to go into the villa, I really feel that this is my comeback and the end of what has been such a long journey.

'Even during the years when things were tough I just had this inner knowing in myself that the universe was going to pick me up at some point and put me in a space where everything I ever wanted would manifest… and I think I'm on the cusp of that.'

The former TOWIE star made ITV documentary Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear and has campaigned for outdated laws to reflect the current times.

She has met with MPs to highlight the issues and has even been tipped for a role in government.

So, is going back on ITV2's dating show the sensible move for a young woman whose career has shifted from reality personality to documentary maker?

She first appeared on Love Island in 2017 where she coupled up with Sam Gowland (pictured)

Georgia said: 'Yes, I am conscious of that. I know I'm going back into the villa, but I am still aware that I am a role model for young women now and I am really grateful of how I have held myself in the media up until now.

'I took this all into account as well because my campaigning is going so well and I am really making strides in the political sector and I was like, is Love Island a good idea?

'I've had so much time to heal and process everything that I went through and then extra time to find out what I really want in life and to rebuild myself.

'I feel like I have everything back to normal and everything that I could possibly want like a good family, great home, my career is going in such a brilliant direction but the only thing that is missing from my life is a man and I thought there's no better way to find someone than to go on Love Island: All Stars.'

Georgia's plan isn't just to return to Love Island, but she wants to win it too.

The star says it won't make a difference to her career if she only lasts a week in the South African villa because she 'already has a blue tick' on Instagram but she's hoping to find the right man, after making 'mistakes' in the past.

She said: 'I am planning to win… I want to go in there and meet the love of my life. If I don't, if I go home on day three, it doesn't matter, I have nothing to lose.

'When you go in there the first time round you want to meet someone, but you also know that the show can change your life and I needed to be in there for at least a week or two.

'But this time, we already have the blue ticks and got what we wanted from the original show… all we're missing is love and I am really manifesting meeting the love of my life and winning.

'I want to make sure the man that I'm with is funny, can make me laugh, is intelligent but in contrast to when I was younger I am most definitely looking for a man that is loyal, kind, honest, authentic, genuine, I don't want to waste anymore of my time.

'I have made mistakes in the past but to me they aren't mistakes but learning curves and they have shown me what to look for in the future.'

In preparation for the five-week series hosted by Maya Jama, Georgia has given up alcohol, eaten healthily, meditated and even done a colonic irrigation to rid herself of toxins both literally and metaphorically.

And she's done her research, rewatching old series of Love Island to work out who she fancies, as well as calculate that she needs a minimum of 35 different bikinis if she's going to be in the competition until the final.

Georgia said: I have been so healthy over the past couple of months.

'I've had my eyebrows laminated, eyelashes done, colonic irrigation, which is probably a little too much information, but I let that s*** go.

'I have cleansed my body from the inside out and been eating really healthily, I have cut out alcohol pretty much completely and I have been meditating.

'I would say I have 40 bikinis, I worked out if I won, I would be in the villa for 35 days, so I made sure I had 35 bikinis. But then I ended up comping too much from all sorts of different clothing companies, so I did end up going a bit over.

'What was great about this time around was that we could get freebies and I thought more is more.'

Love Island: All Stars launches on Monday 15th January at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX & STV
